Social Media Marketing Coordinator (Entry Level, Part-Time)

Location: Hybrid (Irvine, CA or Remote, PST hours)
Employment Type: Part-Time (approximately 20 hours/week)

Role Overview: We’re seeking a creative, data-driven Social Media Marketing Coordinator to build and amplify ELIXIR MD’s online presence across LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook. In this part-time role, you’ll craft engaging content, foster community engagement, and analyze performance metrics to drive brand awareness and lead generation among plastic surgeons and aesthetic professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Content Creation & Scheduling: Develop on-brand graphics, short-form videos, captions, and Stories/Reels drafts; manage your slice of the editorial calendar.
  2. Community Management: Monitor comments and DMs; engage thoughtfully with followers; identify and cultivate brand advocates.
  3. Performance Analysis: Track key KPIs (engagement rate, follower growth, click-throughs); produce concise weekly reports with insights and recommendations.
  4. Trend & Competitor Research: Stay abreast of emerging platform features and industry influencers; recommend new tactics and emerging channels.
  5. Collaboration: Liaise with Marketing, Product, and Clinical Affairs teams—align social content with product launches, events, and publications.

What You’ll Bring:

  • 1–2 years of hands-on social media management (internship, agency, or freelance)
  • Strong writing skills with the ability to adapt tone for professional and creative audiences
  • Familiarity with social management tools (e.g., Sprout Social) and basic graphic/video tools (Canva, Photoshop, etc.)
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple campaigns in parallel
  • Passion for healthtech and a willingness to learn scientific concepts quickly

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Experience in B2B healthcare or medical device marketing
  • Proficiency with basic photo/video editing (Adobe Creative Suite)
  • Understanding of paid social advertising fundamentals
  • Exposure to analytics platforms (Google Analytics, Sprout Social, etc.)
