McMillen, Inc. is seeking a self-motivated Marketing Manager with a minimum of 8-10 years of marketing proposal experience. The Marketing Manager will oversee the development, organization, and production of proposals, presentation materials, resumes, and brochures. Responsibilities include coordinating marketing activities, editing proposals and PowerPoint presentations, and preparing submittal documents. Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, journalism, PR, communications, or English, and a strong desire to grow both personally and professionally through each marketing effort. The role offers the opportunity to work closely with sales, marketing, operations, and senior management to develop high-quality, professional, and consistent proposals, presentations, and sales-related documents for engineering and construction projects.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure client satisfaction within the Business and/or Client Group.
- Independently perform research, writing, editing, proposal production, and coordination on various marketing efforts with minimal supervision.
- Support the Marketing department on proposals and lead major/strategic efforts; edit, write, coordinate, and ensure compliance; oversee proposal section preparation.
- Establish pre-production document management and file-sharing processes for proposals.
- Coordinate content collection with teaming partners and subcontractors as needed.
- Communicate effectively to exchange proposals and marketing information with others.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Journalism, Public Relations, Communications, or English.
- 8-10 years of experience in marketing proposals.
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills, along with integrity and a strong work ethic.
- Previous proofreading experience.
- Experience in engineering, construction, or architecture industries is highly preferred.
- Experience with federal proposal development (e.g., SF330) is a plus.
Compensation Package:
- Pay Range: $84,505 – 115,000 (DOE)
