HRO Audit Communications Team Lead

will support the Department of Veteran’s Affairs Office of Internal Audit (IA) and internal firm initiatives and special projects. The Communications Team Lead shall assist IA in the execution of targeted program goals to include the following responsibilities: Serving as the communications face of HRO Audit program before the VHA and IA Provide expert advice related to strategic communications for both internal and external IA stakeholders. Leading a robust stakeholder management and communications program that includes regular newsletters, executive level presentations relating to program progress, planning and results Overseeing the drafting, editing and publishing processes of regular deliverables including:

Meeting support tools Regularly scheduled newsletters Blog posts Audit plans Audit reports Annual Plans Audit Manuals

Qualifications

Ten (10) years of progressive, relevant experience, in healthcare or government settings Master’s Degree in communications with a focus on business or healthcare administration Corporate knowledge of large-scale communications in a health care setting; Knowledge/experience with Veterans outreach and communication campaigns; Experience conducting media analysis regarding social media platforms; Experience with implementing successful (proven) communications campaigns in an integrated health care setting. Must be eligible to work in the United States. Travel may be required. Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance. Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly. Ability to work independently with a client team either on-site or in a remote working capacity Ability to conduct oversight of multiple teams working concurrently on discrete missions About the company
