Seeking a skilled Multifamily Truss Designer to play a vital role in the construction of multi-unit residential buildings. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create safe, efficient, and code-compliant truss systems.
Responsibilities: Design truss systems for multi-unit residential buildings, ensuring structural integrity and adherence to codes. Develop detailed truss layout drawings and fabrication documents using specialized software. Optimize designs for cost-effectiveness and material efficiency. Liaise with architects, engineers, and construction teams to integrate truss designs seamlessly. Participate in project meetings and provide on-site guidance as needed. Qualifications:
Proven experience in truss design, especially for multifamily projects. Proficiency in MiTek or other CAD based truss design software. Strong understanding of building codes and regulations. Excellent communication and time management skills. Prefer a minimum of an Associate Degree in Design Benefits:
