Through our fundraising events, we raise vital support for children who need urgent medical care, basic necessities, and education assistance. Volunteer Role: We are seeking a
volunteer photographer
to capture vibrant, high-quality images at our upcoming
Karaoke Speakeasy Night —a fun, casual fundraiser that brings together our community of supporters in New York City. Responsibilities: Capture candid and posed photos of attendees throughout the event Photograph key moments, including performances, group shots, and venue atmosphere Provide a selection of edited high-resolution photos (100+ images) within one week of the event Coordinate with the Maya’s Hope team on any special photo needs Qualifications: Experience with event or portrait photography Access to your own camera and equipment Comfortable working in low-light indoor environments Professional, friendly, and discreet around guests Commitment to delivering photos by the agreed-upon timeline Time Commitment: 3 hours on-site (6:00 PM to 9:00 PM) Plus time for post-event photo editing and delivery Perks: Join a fun, meaningful event supporting an impactful cause Receive photo credit on social media and in event materials Network with passionate changemakers and professionals This is a great opportunity for a photographer who wants to build their portfolio while giving back.
