The Retail Media Manager will primarily be responsible for the cross-platform development, activation, measurement, and media optimization of all Retail Media investments including programs and experiments that focus on converting shoppers into buyers of our brands via Omnichannel retailers. This position will provide recommendations and expertise on leveraging channel and retail media intelligence for strategic recommendations, partnerships, and activations. Collaborates with Ecommerce, Mass Market and Natural Sales Teams to develop Boiron Omnichannel Marketing and Sales.
Responsibilites:
- Improving investment ROI, Enhancing Brand Holistic Retail Media Presence, developing Partnerships with external Retail Media teams and Achievement of Media Performance Targets.
- Educate and provide insights to internal teams in Marketing, Sales & Boiron Leadership on Retail Media campaigns and platforms.
- Support the advancement of capabilities and understanding of the evolving Retail Media landscape across the organization, including New Retail Media platforms.
- Perform campaign builds, traffic creative assets, create target audiences, and other tasks involving setup.
- Deliver performance reports, analyze DSP/Search performance and pacing data, and provide strategic recommendations to our internal teams on a scheduled or ad hoc basis.
- Optimize campaign performance against our KPIs and communicate when faced with campaign issues.
- Work with internal teams to provide recommendations and optimization strategies that align with Boiron objectives.
- Communicate with Retail Media & Delivery Network Teams to gain valuable insights into category and competitor trends.
- Develop POV on retailers as a media and data provider opportunities with process and best practices in place for brands to leverage. Collaborate with internal partners to develop recommendations inclusive of establishing KPIs and measurement success criteria.
- Provide activation strategies and plans that drive shopper behaviors in the marketplace. Leverage full funnel Paid Media recommendations for stronger holistic impact. Activate Retail Media programs using tactics including various Digital Media, DSP and Search.
- Deploy Media best practices and establish guidelines for Retail Media, especially as it relates to performance.
- Core strategic understanding of full media landscape, with focus on retail media Understanding of media and retail partners, technologies, and platforms Media Operations (Budgets, Reporting, Billing, etc.).
- Supervise and mentor Retail Media Specialist.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or related field.
- 5-7 years’ experience in Ecommerce, Retail Media, Performance Marketing.
- Deep knowledge of paid search best practices, bid management systems, keyword development tools and DSP platforms.
- Direct Experience and Knowledge of the e-commerce landscape and the key retail players (Amazon, Walmart, Criteo, Instacart, Target, and others).
- Experience working with partners like Walmart Connect, Criteo, Kroger 84.51, Roundel, Instacart, Shipt and Amazon Advertising.
- Retailer or Agency Media leadership and CPG Experience preferred.
- Analytic capability to seek and leverage data and knowledge in the areas of consumer and shopper insights, customer understanding, categories and brands, brand building, sales and finance.
- Strong written and verbal communication and data presentation skills.
- Demonstrated business and financial acumen (e.g. Sales, Share, ACOS, ROAS, ROI).
- Proficient user of digital ads & ecommerce analytics tools.
- Experience against several media buying strategies; self-service, managed buyer, partner negotiations.
- Strong analytical skill; being able to understand the nuances and implications behind the results.
- Outstanding organizational skills. Excellent attention to detail and proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in fast-paced environment.
- Must be an innovative and collaborative self-starter with an outstanding track record of internal client service and teamwork.
- Proficient user of Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel (can perform complex functions) and PowerPoint.
- Some overnight travel required include monthly visits to the headquarters office in Newtown Square, Pennsylvania.
