What to Expect (Job Responsibilities): - Develop and implement integrated strategic communications plans to enhance brand identity - Create and execute marketing/public relations strategies to build relationships with media and key influencers - Identify and address challenges and emerging issues within the organization - Serve as the spokesperson and lead for media interactions to promote the organization - Recruit and manage a communications team, ensuring effective development and execution of communication strategies
What is Required (Qualifications): - Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, or a related field - Minimum of 10 years of experience in a senior management role, either in-house or with an agency - Proven ability to build relationships with top-tier reporters and editors for high-impact media placements - Extensive writing and editing experience across various print and online communications media - Demonstrated leadership in managing comprehensive strategic communications, media relations, and marketing programs
