Trade Marketing Manager – U.S. (Retail + Foodservice)

Trade Marketing Manager
to lead and build its trade marketing strategy across retail and foodservice in the USA. This is a
newly created role —ideal for someone who has grown up in CPG food and beverage, understands how to drive the 3 P’s (pricing, promotions, and placement), and wants to make a direct impact on brand growth in the U.S. market. You’ll report directly to the North American CEO and collaborate closely with a commercial leader who previously spent 20+ years with a major global meat company. You’ll be the link between sales and strategy, working hands-on to shape go-to-market execution and define the company’s positioning in its category. What You’ll Do Develop and own all
trade marketing strategies
for the U.S. market across
retail and foodservice Build the
playbook
for pricing strategy, promotions, retail placement, and shopper activation Analyze syndicated data, market trends, and sales performance to define
category strategy Collaborate with the sales team and national brokers to develop tools and tactics that drive execution Lead and support
new product launches, trade events, and in-store activations Evaluate and report on
KPI performance , promotional ROI, and competitive benchmarks Serve as the connective tissue between
sales, marketing, operations, and HQ teams Partner with HQ and the U.S. commercial team to execute the U.S. growth plan effectively What You Bring 7+ years of experience
in trade marketing, category management, or shopper marketing within
branded CPG food & beverage
(premium meat products preferred) Strong knowledge of both
retail and foodservice —with retail as a key growth focus Expertise in executing the
3 Ps
(pricing, promotion, placement) across diverse channels Skilled in
data sourcing, analysis, and insights
to influence trade decisions Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work across national sales teams Proven success in
building or rebuilding trade programs
from the ground up Comfortable reporting to senior executives and influencing at the leadership level Willingness to
travel to NJ monthly
