Overview

The Employee Benefits Advisor (Producer) sells new accounts and renews existing accounts, building and maintaining relationships with clients, prospects, and industry partners while identifying sales opportunities.

Primary Responsibilities

1. Present proposals professionally, reviewing coverages to ensure client understanding.
2. Communicate effectively with clients, prospects, and partners.
3. Finalize sales, gather necessary documentation, and brief the service team.
4. Develop prospects through community involvement, seminars, networking, and referrals.
5. Prepare and present proposals for new accounts, adhering to firm policies.
6. Ensure accuracy and timeliness in interactions to minimize errors and omissions.
7. Maintain knowledge of industry and underwriting criteria.
8. Represent the firm positively in the community and with partners.
9. Perform additional duties as assigned and seek process improvements.
10. Meet monthly new business goals.

Requirements

1. Maintain or obtain a Life & Health Insurance License within 90 days.
2. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
3. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
4. Align with the company's core values and culture.

Working Conditions

• Fast-paced environment requiring multi-tasking.
• Travel as needed.
