UI/UX Developer
Location: Linthicum Heights, MD (Preferably Local)
Required: US Citizen/GC
Duties:
- Design and implement responsive web application user interfaces using JavaScript, CSS, HTML5, and JQuery.
- Design and develop wireframes or prototypes based on requirements and validate designs with users.
- Develop mobile and cross-browser compatible responsive front-end interfaces using frameworks like Bootstrap or Angular.
- Ensure components comply with UI/UX guidelines and standards in collaboration with the application team.
- Develop and oversee the UX/UI domain practice within the Data and Reporting group.
- Translate concepts into user flows, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to create intuitive user experiences aligned with KPIs.
- Deliver interface designs, prototypes, mockups, wireframes, user stories, and journeys optimized for various devices using high and low fidelity design tools.
- Make strategic design and user experience decisions to maintain a consistent UI across all products.
- Adopt a user-centered design approach, conduct rapid testing, and iterate designs; participate in usability testing.
- Collaborate with team members and stakeholders including Business Analysis, UI Engineering, and Client Support.
- Apply user-centered design principles, including planning and conducting user research, testing, A/B testing, rapid prototyping, heuristic analysis, usability, and accessibility assessments.
- Effectively communicate design processes, ideas, and solutions to teams and clients.
Education:
A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a related field from an accredited institution.
Experience:
- At least 5 years of experience in designing and developing web and mobile applications, with responsive front-end interfaces.
- Proficiency with HTML, CSS, Node.js, JavaScript, and JQuery.
- Extensive experience with modern JavaScript frameworks such as Angular, and CSS.
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript, JSON, REST, XML, and scripting languages.
- Experience creating wireframes and prototypes using current UI/UX tools.
- Experience with Data Visualization Dashboards and Reports is required.
- Experience with Angular 6/7 and UI performance optimization tools like PageSpeed Insights, Webpagetest.org, and Chrome DevTools.
- Experience in Federal and/or State health and human services programs (preferred), including SNAP, TANF, WIC, EBT, Medicaid, CHIP, Child Support, Care Management, EHR, and Child Care.
