Position Overview Vehicle Photographer – Individual Contributor. Requires on-site work at a specified Cox location (no remote or flexible work option). Works Monday‑Friday, 7:00am–4:30pm. Hourly base pay ranges from $15.10 to $22.69, which may vary by location and qualifications. The position may earn additional compensation through commission or incentive programs.
Responsibilities Take pre- and post‑recon photos on the main lot and TRA photographs of vehicles as defined by Image Standards using the MIC 2.0 application.
Process photos in the Photo Booth and upload images captured during the inspection process.
Capture and process electronic images of vehicles.
Upload all pictures associated with electronic condition reports (ECR) and verify the quality and accuracy of each photograph.
Maintain knowledge of the Digital Quality Image (DQI) website.
Re‑image or request re‑imaging of any substandard images.
Process vehicles through the Photo Booth following standard operating procedures (SOPs) when available.
Demonstrate safety commitment by following all safety and health procedures and modeling related behaviors.
Actively participate in all safety activities aligned with Safety Excellence.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications High School Diploma or GED preferred.
Less than two years of related experience preferred; prior detail shop or buffing experience is helpful.
Safe driver with a valid driver’s license and ability to drive vehicles with standard or automatic transmission.
Ability to stand, walk, reach, talk, hear, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, squat, and climb regularly.
Ability to lift 1–30 pounds (light hand tools, etc.).
Manual dexterity and repetitive motion tasks.
Vision: close, distance, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment Frequent exposure to wet and/or humid conditions; occasional exposure to outdoor weather, moving mechanical parts, electrical shock hazard, and toxic or caustic chemicals.
Drug Testing Applicants must clear a pre‑employment drug test. Cox is a drug‑free workplace; possession, use, or being under the influence of illegal drugs during work hours, on company property, or in company vehicles is prohibited.
Benefits Employees receive a minimum of sixteen hours of paid time off per month and seven paid holidays per calendar year.
