MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB

We are seeking English into Vietnamese translators to join our growing team for a global client, a music streaming company offering entertainment services such as music streaming and podcasts. The selected candidates will take ownership of incoming work on this account and contribute to its success.

Project Details:

Job Title: English into Vietnamese Creative UI and Marketing Senior Translator/Reviewer

Start Date: ASAP

Location: Remote (US or Canada-based)

Task Type: Translation, Copy Editing

Estimated Work Volume: 15 hours/week

Employment Type: Freelance

• Translate and review content from English into Vietnamese, ensuring the original meaning is conveyed clearly and understandably for the target audience.
• Content types include: Informational, Legal, Marketing, Product, Support
• Use CAT tools, specifically Smartling

• Minimum 3 years experience in translating and reviewing content in the relevant subject areas.
• Proficient in marketing, product, legal, and informational content translation.
• Well-versed in translation and terminology tools.
• Excellent communication skills in English (spoken and written).
• Proficiency in Vietnamese, with native fluency preferred.
• Degree in linguistics, translation, or equivalent experience.
• Able to follow instructions, including character restrictions.
• Ability to explain the rationale behind transcreation choices.
• Knowledge of UI, customer support, and creative content such as titles and synopses.
