Role Summary/Purpose:
Synchrony is building a world-class creative organization dedicated to driving results with retail and payments partners while delivering outstanding customer experiences. We are seeking an Associate Creative Director to join Goldmind, our in-house creative agency. The ideal candidate is a creative thinker, collaborator, storyteller, and leader. Responsibilities include leading a team, directing their work, and elevating creative outputs across platforms targeting B2B and B2C audiences.
Working Style:
We offer flexibility to work from home, nearby hubs, or in our offices, with occasional in-office requirements for meetings and events.
Key Responsibilities:
- Concept, execute, and direct diverse creative projects such as campaigns, social media, web pages, presentations, emails, display ads, and in-person experiences.
- Collaborate with creatives and vendors to exceed project expectations.
- Manage and inspire creative team members, fostering collaboration and bold ideas.
- Present work to teams, clients, and leadership.
- Conduct reviews and provide constructive feedback.
- Align with managerial and creative leadership on vision and communication.
- Work with project teams to meet objectives and timelines.
- Uncover insights, especially in the Health & Wellness industry, and connect them to creative solutions.
- Adhere to budgets and processes, advocating for improvements.
- Deliver creative solutions that positively impact brand and business metrics.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or 8+ years of relevant experience in digital design/video in an agency or in-house setting.
- 5+ years of experience managing digital projects, with proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Figma.
- Comfortable in fast-paced digital environments.
- Willing to travel occasionally (up to 5%).
Must provide a portfolio or work samples to be considered.
Preferred Characteristics:
- Degree in advertising, design, communications, or related fields.
- Experience in B2B, integrated campaigns, social media, and conceptual thinking.
- Availability during East Coast business hours.
- Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite and Figma, with preference for experience in health/wellness or financial services industries.
- Strong leadership, communication, and presentation skills.
- Creative, innovative, and trend-aware.
- Proficient in MS Office.
- Graduate degree preferred.
Additional Details:
Salary range: $90,000 - $155,000 USD annually, plus potential bonuses. Compensation depends on experience and market adjustments.

- Must be 18+, with a high school diploma or higher.
- Willing to undergo background checks, drug testing, and fingerprinting.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. required; no visa sponsorship.
