Position Summary Information

The purpose of this position is to provide essential support for library functions and staff. This position may be required to work nights and/or weekends.

Minimum Qualifications

Current Del Mar College student enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours while employed.

Required Job Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

1. Ability to work nights and/or weekends.
2. Effective communication skills.
3. Dependable and reliable.

Job Duties

1. Assist patrons at the circulation desk.
2. Deliver and pickup audio/visual equipment from classrooms.
3. Maintain library materials on shelves and shelve returned materials.
4. Answer phones, take AV equipment orders, take requests for library rooms, provide library information.
5. Locate library materials for patrons.
6. Open and secure library rooms.
