Corgan is actively recruiting a dynamic Commercial Sector Studio Leader to join the firm as part of our Houston, TX team. Our Commercial Studio focuses on designing great places to work, live, and thrive. We are looking to expand our presence in the local market and seek a highly motivated individual to lead and grow our firm and presence within the community.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow our Commercial Studio, focusing on designing spaces that serve as great places to work, live, and thrive.
• Collaborate with Sector Leaders and leadership on project pursuits, maintaining existing client relationships and developing new business.
• Ensure design excellence and outstanding service to clients.
• Manage projects effectively to establish credibility in the commercial market sector.
• Motivate and develop team members to exceed client and business objectives while fostering professional growth.
• Build and maintain relationships with current and prospective clients in Commercial Office, Mixed-Use, Civic, and similar projects.
• Manage fee generation and project opportunities.
• Generate and execute proposals.
• Lead a team in designing and executing projects of various sizes in Houston, TX.

Qualifications

• NAAB-accredited degree in Architecture and 12+ years of experience, with an established professional reputation in the market.
• Professional Architectural registration.
• Experience in commercial projects is required.
• Strong business development skills and networking ability.
• Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills.
• Familiarity with Revit, AutoCAD, and other graphics programs preferred.
• Proven involvement in business development and project management, with strategic leadership and presentation skills, and high self-motivation.
• Strong conceptual design skills and entrepreneurial spirit.
• Effective communication skills to discuss project metrics, construction practices, and contractual terms with clients.
