As a senior strategic team member, the Integrated Media Associate Director (IMAD) is responsible for leading multichannel integrated media strategy and planning for assigned clients, contributing to other plans, overseeing work, and mentoring team members. The IMAD handles research, development, presentation, and execution of media strategies with limited oversight. They work with and lead media brand teams to create strategies, provide leadership on measurement, reporting, and optimization, and build strong client relationships.

The IMAD participates as the strategic media planning lead in workshops, leads internal team briefings, and brainstorming sessions. They collaborate with Insights and Brand Strategy to develop personas and communication strategies based on media consumption and behavior, delegating tasks as appropriate within the team.

They bring creative solutions to client initiatives, working with Client Engagement, Insights, Brand Strategy, Public Relations, Content Marketing, Social Media, and Creative teams.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Lead consistent and effective media strategy and planning processes

Set the strategic media direction for assigned clients

Oversee media strategy and plan development

Work with Insights and Brand Strategy to develop personas, journeys, and communication strategies

Present media strategies and plans to internal teams and clients

Collaborate with various teams including Client Engagement, Public Relations, Content Marketing, Social Media, and Creative

Build and maintain relationships with clients, teams, and media partners

Mentor and guide team members

Maintain knowledge of media channel strategies and networks

Introduce new ideas and champion integrated media strategies

Qualifications

5-7+ years’ experience in media strategy and planning in an agency

Experience with multichannel, integrated campaigns

Strong organizational skills

Knowledge of the media landscape

Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills

Problem-solving and innovative thinking abilities

Proficiency with media data resources and software

Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite
