ABC Columbia News has an immediate opening for an experienced News Reporter MMJ for our growing newscasts in the capital city of Columbia, SC.
We are seeking a MMJ who can report, shoot, and handle live breaking news. The candidate should have knowledge of non-linear equipment, social media management, and news producing.
The ideal candidate is a newsroom leader with excellent storytelling, digital, and live skills. Must be able to work well with a team under various conditions. A creative writer capable of enterprise stories and building contacts is essential. We prefer candidates with at least 1-year reporting/MMJ experience. Availability to work weekends, nights, holidays, and irregular hours is required. A degree in Journalism or Communications is preferred.
