Job Title: Front End User Interface Designer/Developer

Duration: 6+ months

Location: Charlotte, NC

This role is for a talented Front End User Interface Designer/Developer who is passionate about building dynamic interfaces and experiences that are engaging, functional, and fun.

Primary Responsibilities include:

• Deliver high-fidelity prototypes for new user interfaces and interactions for various online projects.
• Deliver concept and vision prototypes, applying rapid ideation and prototyping skills.
• Support/Coach development teams during development of UI.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

• PHP knowledge is greatly preferred.
• Ability to rapidly iterate through prototypes.
• Ability to create complex interactions using jQuery.
• Responsive Web experience is a big plus.
• Stay up-to-date on new technologies and trends.
• Expert knowledge of optimizing client-side performance.
• Familiarity with designing for financial services.
• Familiarity with Section 508, accessibility guidelines.

Suggested Experience & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Financial experience is preferred.
• Experience with client-facing sites is preferred.
