Role: Technical Test Lead – SOA Testing - Soap UI / CA DevTest

Duration: Full Time

Location: Northbrook, IL

Qualifications

Basic

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 4 years of experience with Information Technology.

Preferred

• At least 4 years of experience in SOA testing and web service test automation using tools such as Soap UI, CA DevTest.
• Strong JAVA coding skills with a minimum of 4 years of development experience.
• Experience in service, end-to-end, and regression testing of SOA-based application landscapes.
• Experience in API Test Automation and Framework Development.
• Experience with Service Virtualization (4 years) is an added advantage.
• Experience with reusable business services (WSDL and XML schemas).
• Experience in API products like WSO2, APIGEE, or similar platforms for implementing API facades, API proxies, and developer portals.
• Hands-on experience in Agile BDD/TDD.
• Ability to automate API test scripts to support CI/CD pipelines.
• At least 4 years of experience in test strategy and test design.
• Experience with scripting languages or automation tools such as Java Scripting, Groovy Scripting, Unix commands, and shell scripting.
• Experience in the insurance domain is desirable.
• Ability to work effectively in a team within a diverse/multiple stakeholder environment.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Experience and interest in working in a global delivery environment.
