Job Description
- Ideate and design innovative solutions using the latest UX design guidelines.
- Work within a design team and be open to critique.
- Sketch ideas and assist with storyboard creation, demonstrating a creative collaborative personality.
- Collaborate with the project team and be actively involved in all aspects of the work.
- Proactively identify opportunities and deliver improvements; follow agile methodology employed by Photon.
- Facilitate clients’ product visions by researching, conceiving, wireframing, sketching, prototyping, and mocking up user experiences for digital products.
- Design and deliver wireframes, user stories, user journeys, and mockups optimized for various devices and interfaces.
- Identify design problems and devise elegant solutions.
- Make strategic design and user-experience decisions related to core and new functions and features.
- Translate concepts into wireframes and mockups that lead to intuitive user experiences.
- Adopt a user-centered design approach, testing and iterating designs rapidly.
- Require three or more years of UX design experience, with preference given to candidates experienced in designing complex solutions for mobile apps.
- Expertise in UX software such as Balsamiq, Axure, and similar tools is essential.
- Experience in designing banking or retail applications is preferred.
- Work with clients to understand detailed requirements and design comprehensive user experiences that meet their needs and vision.
- Extensive experience using UX best practices, with a deep understanding of mobile-first and responsive design principles.
- Solid grasp of user-centered design, testing methodologies, subsystems, usability, and accessibility concerns.
- Ability to iterate designs efficiently and effectively.
- Communicate design processes, ideas, and solutions clearly to teams and clients.
- Understand the importance of user-centered design.
- Collaborate and communicate closely with teams and stakeholders via a distributed model to deliver design solutions for approval.
- Help teammates, share knowledge, and learn from others.
- Be receptive to feedback and constructive criticism.
- Be passionate about UX, design, and innovation, and stay updated with industry trends and technologies.
