Volunteer Public Relations and Social Media Developer

The Aparecio Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to economic development and community building, aiming to empower low-income women through academic support and mentorship programs.

The foundation fosters an informal and collaborative environment where employees work independently and as part of teams, driven by passion for the nonprofit sector and a commitment to organizational goals. Employees are encouraged to be creative and energetic in their roles.

This is an unpaid Volunteer / Intern position.

The PR and Social Media Content Developer will help establish and maintain the foundation's online presence by managing social media content and expanding outreach efforts as the organization grows.

Responsibilities include:

• Research relevant online content related to "Girl Power" and other topics, and share it on the foundation's social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, ActiveGood).
• Design, update, and optimize social media pages, staying current with social media trends.
• Create banner ads for Google campaigns and sponsored links (7-8 campaigns).
• Respond to inquiries and serve as an online spokesperson.
• Collaborate with team members to identify key trends and interests for effective communication.
• Attend professional meetings and workshops to enhance skills.
