Overview Of The Design Studio Specialist Role You will inspire customers to express themselves in their home. You will assist customers and complete sales at the cash wrap, promoting ongoing engagement with our brand. Responsibilities Assist clients in designing their living spaces through consultations in-store and in-home, driving sales Conduct in-home consultations, measuring and assessing client spaces accurately Create and present design plans tailored to client needs and preferences Stay informed on current sales and promotions to meet and exceed sales goals Provide exemplary service for gift wrapping, registry, merchandise location, orders, and deliveries Demonstrate product knowledge of the entire design studio assortment Criteria Strong communication and customer follow-up skills Ability to manage complex orders across sales channels Experience with design elements preferred Ability to prioritize and multitask 1-2 years of customer service and retail sales experience, preferably in specialty retail Physical Requirements Ability to be mobile on the sales floor for extended periods Lift and move items up to 75 lbs. safely Full-time associates should have open availability; part-time must be available on weekends and two weekdays, with at least two separate weekend days Our Commitment to Diversity, Equity & Inclusion We foster a culture that values diversity and inclusion, encouraging authentic self-expression and equitable advancement based on merit.
