A leading enterprise software company is seeking a Senior Manager of User Experience (UX) to lead the design and development of intuitive, user-centered experiences across its platform. In this strategic leadership role, you will guide a team of UX professionals to deliver exceptional user interfaces and experiences, contributing directly to the satisfaction and productivity of millions of users. You’ll collaborate closely with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to ensure every product is functional, beautiful, and easy to use.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Planning and Vision
Develop and implement a forward-looking UX strategy aligned with product and business goals
Drive a design vision that promotes consistency, usability, and innovation across the platform
Team Leadership
Manage and mentor a team of UX designers and researchers
Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performing team culture
Support career growth through coaching and development opportunities
Design Execution
Oversee the end-to-end design process including discovery, wireframing, prototyping, and visual design
Ensure high standards of design quality and execution across all touchpoints
User Research
Plan and conduct user research and usability testing to validate design decisions
Translate insights into actionable improvements and design enhancements
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to define requirements and deliver user-centered solutions
Advocate for the user in all aspects of product development
Process Improvement
Continuously refine UX workflows and processes to increase efficiency and impact
Identify areas for improvement and implement solutions that scale
Communication
Clearly communicate design rationale and UX decisions to cross-functional teams and executive leadership
Present work effectively to diverse audiences
Design Systems
Contribute to the development and maintenance of scalable design systems
Ensure consistency in look, feel, and interaction patterns across digital products
Required Qualifications
Proven experience managing and leading UX design teams in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
Deep expertise in user experience design principles, methodologies, and best practices
Strong background in conducting and applying user research and usability testing
Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
Proficiency in modern design tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe Creative Suite)
Experience designing for enterprise applications such as HCM, recruiting, compensation, benefits, learning & development, or DEI platforms is strongly preferred
