CAASE envisions a community free from all forms of sexual exploitation, including sexual assault and the commercial sex trade. CAASE addresses the culture, institutions, and individuals that perpetrate, profit from, or support sexual exploitation. Our work includes prevention, policy reform, community engagement, and legal services. Social and institutional systems do not adequately serve survivors of sexual violation, which harms marginalized communities at the highest rates. To create the greatest change and best support survivors, our programs seek to break down inequity and focus on those most impacted, including people who are girls and women, of color, LGBTQ+, living with disabilities, experiencing poverty, immigrants, or undocumented. Our dedication to this work is reflected in our values. ABOUT THE POSITION

The Chicago Alliance Against Sexual Exploitation (CAASE) is excited to be hiring a Marketing & Communications Manager! You are a creative and strategic communications leader, looking for new ways to boost public understanding of CAASE and its work and keep eyes/bring new eyes to CAASE’s innovative programs. You thrive in environments where no day is the same, while balancing routine tasks like website maintenance and newsletter drafting. One day, you’ll work on materials for a future CAASE fundraising event in collaboration with our development team, and another day, you’ll support our Policy team by taking pictures and videos for social media of a press conference on a CAASE policy initiative. You know when and how to use different marketing and communications tools – e-newsletters, social media, media relations – to create buzz around CAASE. You keep up with Chicago and national news and can recognize when stories or trends in media could drive attention and donors to CAASE. You are adept at creating distinct materials for different audiences, like donors, reporters, or the public. You prioritize well between urgent needs and long-term, scheduled projects aligned with CAASE’s organizational needs and goals. COMPENSATION
