OVERVIEW

We’re looking for a team member who lives and breathes the industry, with skills behind the lens to create content that disrupts the status quo. You will tell stories through both photography and filmmaking, with quick turnaround times, often on the same day. You will own content on social media platforms.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Produce content for Instagram & YouTube
• Engage with our customer lifestyle
• Partner with external social content creators, influencers, and ambassadors
• Edit and deliver social media content as directed by the Creative Team
• Create same-day video edits and photography recaps of Safariland events
• Develop specific paid social advertisements
• Generate and pitch ideas for social campaigns
• Handle and manage the secure transport of firearms equipment

QUALIFICATIONS

• Extensive experience in the firearms industry, including firearms handling
• Minimum of five (5) years in photography, videography, and editing
• Ability to travel up to three (3) weeks per month
• Expertise in editing software for stills and video
• Proficiency in cinema and stills camera operation and audio recording
• Highly independent and motivated
• Adaptability to changing priorities
