About the Role

The Company is in search of a visionary Vice President of User Experience Engineering to lead the creation of exceptional digital experiences for fans worldwide. This pivotal role involves shaping the way fans interact with digital platforms, ensuring seamless, engaging, and innovative experiences. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing the User Experience Engineering team, developing and executing a strategic vision that aligns with business objectives, and overseeing the design, development, and implementation of user interfaces and interactive features. Collaboration with product, design, and service/data development teams is essential to define and refine user experience requirements, and the role also includes staying abreast of emerging technologies and trends, particularly in the use of AI to enhance agility and drive innovation. Candidates for this role at the company should have a proven track record in digital transformation and enterprise-scale software delivery, with a focus on mobile and web experiences. Strong leadership skills, experience in React Native development, and a deep understanding of mobile app performance optimization are required. The role demands a creative, strategic thinker with excellent communication and decision-making skills, and a passion for baseball with a deep understanding of the fan experience. A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and at least 10 years' experience in user experience engineering, including significant leadership in mobile, web, and living room experiences, are also necessary. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, expertise in user-centered design, and a commitment to delivering successful digital experiences at scale.
