Job Description The technical writer is responsible for writing and editing technical documents for projects. This person must have excellent research skills, must be able to organize their ideas, and be able to translate technical terms into text that any reader may understand.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Manage multiple assignments simultaneously, while working independently and with others.
As an integral part of the cross-functional project team, the person must learn about its products by
Complete writing assignments according to set standards regarding order, clarity, conciseness,
style, and terminology.
Confer with business representatives and technical team to establish technical specifications and to
determine subject material to be developed for publication.
Select photographs, drawings, sketches, diagrams, and charts to illustrate material.
Study drawings, specifications, mockups, and product samples to integrate and delineate
technology, operating procedure, and production sequence.
Interview technical representatives and read requirements, technical specifications, product designs, and other materials to become familiar with product technologies and production methods.
Develop and maintain installation, configuration and technical how-to documentation.

Job Requirements: Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a technical writing role.
Advance computer skills especially Microsoft Office Tools and Microsoft Visio, Acrobat Pro.
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Must be flexible and have the ability to interact with all levels in the organization.
Highly motivated individual able to grasp complex software and learn quickly.
Must have demonstrated ability to work within tight deadlines.
