Position Overview: The mission of The University Daily Kansan is to serve as a primary, credible news source for the University community.
Job Description:
- 50%: Editing assignments made by content generators.
- 40%: Making assignments to content generators.
- 10%: Attending meetings and training.
Required Qualifications:
- During the semester term, the student must be enrolled in no fewer than 6 credit hours. For summer periods, the student must:
- Have been enrolled in at least 6 hours in the past spring semester, or
- Be pre-enrolled in the upcoming fall semester in at least 6 hours, or
- Be enrolled in summer session, or
- Be admitted to study in the upcoming fall semester.

Employment Conditions:
- Student employees are not eligible for remote work unless approved by unit leadership and HR.
- This is an hourly/non-exempt position. A student cannot hold both an hourly/non-exempt position and a salaried/exempt position concurrently.
