Houston Community College (HCC) is composed of 14 Centers of Excellence and numerous satellite centers that serve the diverse communities in the Greater Houston area. The Team
Join HCC as an instructor and play a central role in maintaining our daily operations. You will collaborate with inspiring leaders across the institution, supporting students with cutting-edge academic and career tools while being part of a dynamic team that values its people.
Responsibilities
- Teach music courses at the college level.
- Develop and deliver engaging curriculum.
- Assess student performance and provide feedback.
- Participate in departmental meetings and college events.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree with at least 18 graduate hours in Music (a photocopy of transcript required).
- PhD, DMA, or Master’s degree in Music strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated professional competency may be considered in lieu of educational requirements.
- Minimum of one (1) year of college-level teaching experience or three (3) to ten (10) years of related work experience.
