DIMOR Group comprises our suite of Companies headquartered in Battle Creek, Michigan. WACO Aircraft is the world's only manufacturer of 1930's era biplanes. Our planes are carefully and skillfully built by hand. Centennial Aircraft Service is a Part 145 Repair Station and does everything from restoring vintage aircraft to providing new avionics and engines to current aircraft Junkers Aircraft is our newest company that encompasses our lightest and sleekest model LSA airplane made from corrugated aluminum, known as the A50, complete with a ballistic parachute.

What You Will Do

The Social Media Specialist role is a critical business partner for all three public-facing brands (WACO, JUNKERS, and CENTENNIAL). You will assist in executing social media strategies (paid and organic), content creation, and required tasks with each brand. Duties generally include video ideation and production, photography, following monthly posting schedules, conducting minor website updates, and assisting in events.

  • Implements social media promotions and strategies
  • Maintains Social Media schedules for WACO Aircraft, Centennial Aircraft Services and Junkers Aircraft, which includes creating/posting content and responding to comments and messages
  • Edits and designs advertisements for digital, including audience segmentation
  • Content Creation for all social media platforms, including photos and videos
  • Provides weekly progress photos of each aircraft in process to key stakeholders including customers
  • Assists in the development and implementation of brand awareness strategies
  • Writes website content, blogs, and white papers
  • Provides detailed reports including conversations on web traffic, paid media, and organic
  • Maintains a vast knowledge of all WACO products and services to promote them effectively
  • Attend all major and minor trade shows to assist in marketing and selling activities.
  • All other tasks as assigned

What we are looking for

  • Bachelor's degree (B. A. / B. S.) from a fouryear college or university or equivalent experience in marketing, business administration, or related field
  • Minimum of two (2) years of related Marketing, Branding, and Advertisement experience
  • Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in video production
  • Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Suites required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills excellent storytelling abilities with the ability to deliver a clear message
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Knowledge of all social networking platforms
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Excited about aviation
  • Ability to take initiative and act with a sense of urgency
  • Ability to climb in and out of aircraft
  • Fluent in Spanish and/or Portuguese is a plus!
