MedStar Health is hiring: Radio Frequency - System Technician in Paducah

Let Vaco advocate for you! We are currently seeking an experienced Radio Frequency System Technician to support a growing team.

1. Possesses over three years of hands-on experience working with radio frequency communication systems or IT infrastructure. A two-year technical degree in electronics is beneficial, but equivalent professional experience ranging from three to eight years is also acceptable.
2. Familiar with RF-based technologies such as signal transmitters, receivers, microwave links, and antenna systems, or a background in IT operations involving server environments, user management systems, virtualization platforms, open-source operating systems, networking hardware, and internet protocols.
3. Capable of collecting and interpreting technical performance metrics, including signal strength, cable diagnostics, frequency alignments, system uptime, network throughput, and traffic analysis using tools like Wireshark.
4. Experienced in using diagnostic instruments such as signal analyzers, line testers, RF diagnostic tools, IP traffic monitors, and working with interfaces and command-line environments across Cisco and Linux platforms.
5. Physically able to transport equipment weighing up to 70 pounds regularly.
6. Holds a valid U.S. driver's license and is willing to travel to diverse client locations for on-site technical service and system maintenance.

Provides technical support for complex communication solutions, conducts maintenance checks, troubleshoots hardware and software components, supports system provisioning, and fine-tunes RF, microwave, and IT infrastructures, including analog systems, digital P25 networks, and virtualized IT platforms.
