MECHANICAL DESIGNER - VICTAULIC -Corporate Engineering - EASTON, PA
**RELOCATION PACKAGE OFFERED**
Victaulic is currently seeking a Mechanical Designers to work within our Engineering Design Department at its corporate facilities located in Easton, PA. This position involves working within a collaborative team environment to design and document product solutions to satisfy our customer needs. The successful candidate should possess a strong aptitude for creative design, be resourceful, detail oriented, and work comfortably within a cross-functional team environment.

Primary Responsibilities:

- Create and/or modify concept layouts, 3D models, assemblies, and detail drawings utilizing SolidWorks Computer Aided Design (CAD) with SolidWorks Product Data Management (PDM) software. \n
- Research relevant component and technical related resources in support of project objectives. \n
- Provide design solutions while being mindful of form, fit, function, manufacturability, and cost. \n
- Apply internal best practices along with applicable industry standards, e.g. ANSI, ASME. \n
- Maintain Technical Data Package throughout product lifecycle, e.g. drawings, revision history, bill of materials, literature submittals, etc. \n
- Collaborate with Product Engineers and entire product development teams. \n
Qualifications:
- \n
- Associates Degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology preferred, or equivalent work-related experience. \n
- Proficient use of a 3D CAD software, SolidWorks preferred. \n
- Thorough understanding of the creation of detail drawings to fully convey form, fit, function along with most efficient manufacturability. \n
- Knowledge of engineering design practices/principles, e.g. interference checks, fits, tolerance stack-up/dimensional analysis, GD&T. \n
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office. \n
- Excellent communication and organization skills. \n
