MAIN PURPOSE
The primary mission of the Visual Merchandising Assistant is to support the Visual Merchandising Specialist in implementing visual merchandising excellence across all points of sale (Boutiques, Watch Specialists, and Cruise Ships) in the Latin America & Caribbean and Brazil markets, with the goal of increasing sales, profitability, and achieving strategic objectives.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the Visual Merchandising Specialist by adapting Cartier’s international guidelines to local markets, ensuring proper implementation of visual merchandising strategies and seasonal campaigns across all sales points.
- Create and submit orders according to schedules, aligned with product launches, themes, and POS budgets, collaborating closely with Supply Chain for timely deliveries.
- Assist with special launches, animations, and decoration requirements, working with Supply Chain to maintain appropriate stock levels.
- Coordinate communication between stakeholders involved in installation schedules, including permits, logistics, and administrative support.
- Work with suppliers/vendors for local production of displays, campaign visuals, and iconographies, guided by the Visual Merchandising Specialist.
- Follow up monthly with boutiques and Watch Specialists to obtain photos of local visual merchandising implementations, creating reports to ensure standards and guidelines are met.
- Assist in tracking the budget.
Geographical responsibility: LAC & Brazil for all product lines (excluding Mexico).
JOB PROFILE
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Fashion, Visual Merchandising, or related fields.
Experience:
- 2-3 years’ experience as a Visual Merchandiser or Decorator in luxury or premium brands.
- Affinity with the luxury/fashion industry and regional retail/wholesale channels is a plus.
- Up to 20% travel within Latin America, Caribbean, and Brazil.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Digital skills or interest is a plus.
