Job Description

The Student Worker - Functional is responsible for cleaning and maintaining assigned areas to meet customer and client satisfaction.

Job Responsibilities

1. Adhere to established procedures to ensure a safe working environment, including compliance with OSHA, state, local, federal, and Aramark regulations.
2. Maintain a clean and orderly environment to promote safety and health.
3. Properly clean and maintain housekeeping equipment.
4. Clean assigned areas according to Aramark and client standards.
5. Follow procedures for storage and disposal of trash and transport it to designated areas.
6. Report maintenance concerns via work order requests to appropriate personnel.
7. Secure the facility, ensuring the building is locked/unlocked as required.
8. Ensure the security of company assets.

Qualifications

• Previous custodial experience preferred.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull over 50 lbs frequently.
• Ability to follow safety procedures due to physical risks and exposure to hazardous chemicals.

This role may involve physical demands such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended walking or standing. Uniforms and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) may be required.
