Position Overview: The Highway Striping Technician is responsible for applying roadway markings on streets, roads, and highways while adhering to safety regulations and industry standards. This position plays a key role in improving road safety for motorists by ensuring accurate and high-quality striping applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate striping equipment to apply paint, thermoplastic, and other marking materials to road surfaces.
- Read and interpret plans, specifications, and drawings to ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Perform routine maintenance on striping equipment to maintain efficiency.
- Work collaboratively with team members to complete projects accurately and on time.
- Maintain detailed records of work performed.
- Follow instructions and safety guidelines with precision.

Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent certificate required.
- Must have a valid drivers license a CDL is preferred.
- Flexible availability, including weekends, based on project schedules.
- Dependable attendance and punctuality are essential.
- Prior experience in highway construction or striping is preferred.
- Traffic control experience is preferred.

- Ability to follow detailed instructions from supervisors and senior crew members.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and project specifications.
- Ability to work outdoors in all seasons and varying weather conditions.
- Ability to lift and handle at least 75 pounds.
