Toledo, Ohio area: Director of Sacred Music Saint Rose Parish in Perrysburg, Ohio, is seeking a Director of Sacred Music. In collaboration with the Pastor, this position will oversee the liturgical music program of Saint Rose Parish. Within this position, the Director of Sacred Music will provide quality music for all parish and school liturgical services, including weekend and Holy Day Masses, funerals, weddings, vespers, communal penance services and school Masses. The recruitment and development of volunteer choirs, cantors, and instrumentalists may also be necessary to enhance the musical accompaniment and song leadership within the Parish. The qualified candidate should have a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in keyboard music performance, be proficient in both piano and organ, and have experience leading and directing a choir. Knowledge, understanding, and commitment to the Catholic Church and her mission are also key components of this position.
