The Role Associate Photographers are the talented and versatile team responsible for media collection for Homes.com and Apartments.com. Equipped with top-of-the-line Pro 3 Matterport, digital camera equipment, and iPads, our Associate Photographers create virtual tours, floorplans, and photography for residential homes. Each Associate Photographer is assigned a core territory to service clients of Homes.com and Apartments.com, with appointments scheduled for specific dates and times to scan homes and apartments, capturing virtual tours and floor plans. They are also responsible for residential photography used in marketing to advertise homes and apartments to potential buyers and renters. This role involves working closely with clients, sales associates, logistics, and the management team. Photographers are managed remotely by a Photography Manager based in local markets.

Responsibilities

  1. Support marketing efforts by capturing high-quality 3-D virtual tours and footprints for Homes.com and Apartments.com.
  2. Create a compelling portfolio of photographs to highlight homes and apartments, utilizing effective photography techniques.
  3. Coordinate with scheduling and dispatch teams to maximize appointments and meet client demands.
  4. Communicate professionally with clients, sales, research partners, and management to evaluate priorities and initiatives.
  5. Own the market by navigating one-mile square grids to ensure complete data coverage, identifying new inventory and missing data.
  6. Follow safety standards to protect company vehicle and equipment.
  7. Represent CoStar professionally at all times.
  8. Participate in conference calls with sales and research teams as needed.

Physical Requirements

  • Repetitive sitting in a car, standing, and walking for up to 8 hours daily.
  • Ability to lift and maneuver equipment weighing up to 5 pounds.
  • Repetitive hand and arm movements for operating camera equipment and typing.
  • Occasional bending, stooping, squatting, lifting, and twisting.
  • Ability to work outdoors in all seasons and weekends on a rotating schedule.

Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of professional experience, with a focus on real estate photography.
  • Experience as a professional photographer or recent photography degree.
  • FAA Part 107 Drone License/Certification (to be obtained within 30 days of offer).
  • Strong time management, attention to detail, and data entry skills.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of Windows, Apple OS, Microsoft Office, and Internet applications.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Valid driver’s license and responsible driving record.

Compensation and Benefits

This position is hourly plus performance-based bonuses, totaling approximately $50,000 annually with monthly bonuses. We offer comprehensive benefits including healthcare, 401(k), stock purchase plan, paid time off, tuition reimbursement, and diversity and inclusion programs.
