Position/Title: Digital Content Producer

In this role, you will be responsible for day-to-day digital news content, working closely with news managers and the Director of Digital Content to ensure all digital platforms are up-to-date, accurate, and compelling.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will:

• Have experience writing and producing news content for web and social media
• Possess excellent writing skills and news judgment
• Have strong digital analytics skills to guide story placement
• Identify and post engaging, timely, and relevant content
• Monitor social practices and align with the station's content strategy
• Be willing to teach on-air reporters digital skills
• Have solid news judgment and the ability to write fast, accurate, mistake-free copy
• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Flexibility and problem-solving abilities

Experience:

• Previous news producing experience at a commercial TV station preferred, but entry-level candidates may be considered
• Journalism degree preferred
