Cybersecurity Certification and Accreditation (C&A) Analyst

to join our team. This is a

remote

position. Job Summary Serves as a cybersecurity Subject Matter Expert (SME) regarding the authorization of information systems and associated cybersecurity policies and procedures. Fully versed in the general principles supporting the DoD's implementation of its authorization process, including cybersecurity policy, procedures, and processes. Performs DoD cybersecurity processes during the authorization of an information system or as an SME for systems undergoing authorization. Understands how security controls in NIST 800-53 apply to assessing and authorizing large organizational IT infrastructures, such as those of DLA, with multiple enclaves, AIS applications, and outsourced IT processes. Determines the severity of vulnerabilities (e.g., non-compliant security controls) and assesses their potential impact on current or future system authorization. Briefs senior management on the progress or results of the authorization process. Clearance Requirements DoD Top Secret clearance, Tier 5 requirement. Required Skills & Certifications 5+ years of relevant C&A experience; Risk Management Framework (RMF) and NIST expertise. Experience with cybersecurity assessment and authorization, including NS DOD cybersecurity experience. Current IAM Level III (CISSP). Experience in assessing security controls and conducting authorization reviews for large, complex organizations. Proficiency with computing environments and certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CE, CISSP, MCDST, MCITP, MCSA, MCSE, and experience with MS Windows Server, Directory, Windows 10.
