Job Title: Systems Installation Technician

The Systems Installation Technician will be responsible for installing and servicing audiovisual systems. This role is essential to ensure all infrastructure is installed according to plans and Project Manager instructions.

Responsibilities:

1. Understand project expectations and timelines
2. Interpret architectural and schematic drawings
3. Pull and terminate wires for projects
4. Label and lace rack wiring
5. Mount audiovisual equipment such as displays, screens, projectors, speakers, cameras, and lighting
6. Troubleshoot and verify system functionality
7. Report progress daily to the Project Manager
8. Maintain a clean and organized work environment
9. Care for tools and equipment, ensuring safety and maintenance
10. Perform shop upkeep and cleanliness
11. Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of experience in commercial audiovisual installation
• Familiarity with audio, video, lighting, and control systems
• Knowledge of low voltage electrical concepts
• Ability to read architectural, electrical, and low voltage schematics
• Basic construction knowledge
• Strong communication skills
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work at heights
• Physical stamina for challenging positions and environments
• Willingness to travel across the USA and abroad for installations
• Valid driver’s license
