Job Description Summary
TheSenior Manager, Branded Contentat Carat Content will work on the Microsoft line of business, supporting branded media content strategy, development, implementation, and measurement. This role involves partnering with the Associate Director on branded content campaign elements, including designing and executing brand content strategies, cultivating new content and partnership opportunities, and managing innovative branded content initiatives for Microsoft
Responsibilities
Content Strategy & Development
- Contribute to the overall vision and management of branded media content initiatives
- Support upstream development of content opportunities based on client objectives and strategies
- Respond to business, marketing, brand, and communications objectives with content-based solutions rooted in strategy and aligned with data and insights
- Stay updated on current content and technology trends and their impact on client business
- Client & Partner Relationships
- Foster and maintain client relationships as well as relationships within the media and entertainment industry
- Build working relationships with internal Carat teams to understand business goals, objectives, product priorities, and messaging
- Project Management
- Support the RFP process, including developing partner briefs, evaluating proposals, and presenting recommendations to clients
- Maintain program timelines to ensure projects stay on track
- Manage status meetings and recaps for internal, client, and partner meetings
- Support creative and production review and approval processes, providing strategic feedback and quality assurance
- Design and execute activation plans in collaboration with Associate Director and Carat Activation
- Build measurement plans for branded content initiatives alongside the Associate Director and Carat Analytics counterparts
- Contribute to team process consistency
- Potential to travel to oversee program success and support shoots and activations as necessary
Requirements
- Experience & Skills
- 4-6+ years of experience in media agency, digital publisher, content, experiential marketing, advertising, PR, production services, or related fields
- Passion for AI, technology, sports and entertainment with interest/experience within the digital/audio sports landscape
- Experience activating cross-platform brand and media partnerships
- Strong organizational and project management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage a diverse project load
- Ability to generate and build on ideas and provide exceptional client service
- Experience developing working relationships with clients, agency, and partner personnel
- Ability to show flexibility, work irregular business hours, and think creatively to address difficult issues and solve problems quickly
- Financial and media plan acumen
.Communication & Professionalism
- Ability to effectively and confidently communicate information in both verbal and written formats.
- Must employ high levels of professionalism and articulation.
- Technical Proficiency
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Teams, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, all social media platforms, and working knowledge of media plan development/implementation processes
Additional Information
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $68,000 - $110,400. Placement within the salary range is based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other factors permitted by law.
