My client is rethinking digital identity by turning avatars into intelligent agents—personalized digital beings that not only look like you but learn, adapt, and express your personality across games, virtual worlds, and chat environments. They are backed by top-tier investors and embraced by some of the biggest names in entertainment and fashion.

This team is building a powerful platform that auto-rigs 3D models and wearables into fully functional assets usable across multiple digital ecosystems. With its own developer tools and a fast-growing creator economy, the company is laying the groundwork for the next evolution of self-expression—where every person can design, animate, and monetize their own AI-powered presence in the virtual world.

They are hiring a senior engineer who can build a strong, scalable system and has senior experience with C++. Experience with Unity would be a significant plus. Since they are working on an AR/VR platform, experience or interest in that area is also desirable.

Responsibilities:

  1. Design and build new tools, pipelines, and integrations that expand the range of platforms supported by their developer SDKs.
  2. Improve performance and stability of SDKs and core frameworks across mobile, desktop, WebGL, VR, and AR environments.
  3. Collaborate closely with backend engineers to ensure smooth synchronization with network services and user data.
  4. Diagnose and fix complex technical issues affecting the reliability and usability of developer tools.
  5. Develop AI-powered functionalities that enhance the intelligence and adaptability of avatar systems and the development platform.

Preferred skills:

  • A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field; graduate-level education is a plus.
  • Expertise in C++ with experience in developing native software applications.
  • Proven ability to architect and implement sophisticated systems, tooling, or frameworks using C++.
  • Knowledge of real-time graphics, 3D mesh algorithms, and performance optimization techniques.
  • Experience with Unity or Unreal Engine.
