Library - Library Substitute-Fairplay & Lake George (Temporary Part-time)

General:Park County Public Libraries is in need of substitute librarians. Under the general supervision of the Branch Manager Librarian, this position assists in library operations, including circulation and patron services.

• Provides patron services in locating library materials and checking library materials in and out.
• Responds to patrons’ reference questions by advising them where materials are located.
• Answers telephone requests.
• Participates in the shelving of library materials.
• Requests inter-library loan materials as required.

Job Location: Park County seeks to develop a pool of applicants for a substitute librarian position at the Fairplay and Lake George locations.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Experience with library fundamentals, working with computers, filing systems, and public relations; must pass background check.
