24 Seven is partnering with a well-known, digital print agency in Portland, OR to help them find a Studio Manager to join their team in this onsite opportunity. This is a full-time, direct hire opportunity with excellent benefits!

Ideal Candidate: will have 5–7 years of experience leading creative or production studios, especially within agency or design house environments.

Key Responsibilities

Studio Operations & Leadership

  1. Oversee daily studio operations for a 7-person team of designers, renderers, and engineers.
  2. Assign and prioritize work based on project deadlines, team capacity, and strategic priorities.
  3. Serve as the bridge between creative, project management, production, and install teams.
  4. Support onboarding, mentorship, and growth for team members.

Project & Process Management

  1. Track active projects from creative concept to final install, ensuring on-time, high-quality delivery.
  2. Identify bottlenecks and proactively solve for workflow inefficiencies.
  3. Own the implementation of new systems and procedures to improve studio output.
  4. Champion structure within the creative process—developing repeatable workflows and scheduling best practices.
  5. Manage budgets related to creative output, tooling, or studio resources.

Tools & Communication

  1. Use project tracking systems (Teams, Airtable) to manage tasks, timelines, and deliverables.
  2. Maintain studio infrastructure and documentation, including digital asset libraries and production files.
  3. Ensure seamless cross-departmental handoffs, especially during fabrication and installation phases.

Qualifications:

  1. 5–7 years in a creative operations, studio management, or production management role.
  2. Experience in agency, design studio, or fabrication environments.
  3. Familiarity with the creative process and comfort working alongside designers.
  4. Proficient in project management tools; Airtable experience is highly preferred.
  5. Strong communication and leadership skills with a talent for translating ideas into action.
  6. Experience with retail buildouts, 3D production, and large-scale installations is a plus.
  7. Bonus: Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite or CAD tools (Rhino, SolidWorks, SketchUp).
