Position Overview:
As a User Experience / User Interface (UX/UI) Designer, you will be part of an integral team committed to taking user experience design to the next level at Mercury Marine. You will work collaboratively and independently with highly qualified industrial designers, user interface designers and usability professionals who are responsible for developing helm to stern experiences for both on and off boat experiences. This is a hybrid position is based in Fond du Lac, WI and requires onsite presence in the office at least 3 days per week or more based on job responsibilities.

Essential Functions:
+ **Design with Purpose** : Deliver functional, high-impact designs that maximize usability, customer desire, and market success.
+ **Craft Exceptional Interfaces** : Design and prototype intuitive, visually compelling user interfaces for embedded systems and mobile applications.
+ **Lead the Design Process** : Own the end-to-end UX/UI journey-from discovery and wireframes to high-fidelity mockups and interactive prototypes.
+ **Champion the User** : Translate complex user needs and business objectives into elegant, user-centered solutions.
+ **Drive Consistency** : Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive design execution across all digital touchpoints.
+ **Advance Design Systems** : Contribute to the evolution of our design system, ensuring scalability, consistency, and efficiency.
+ **Elevate Usability** : Continuously improve product intuitiveness and accessibility through research, testing, and iteration.

Required Qualifications:
+ Bachelor Degree in User Experience/User Interface related field
+ 5+ years of UX/UI design experience, with a strong portfolio of consumer-facing digital products (mobile, connected vessel platforms).
+ Deep understanding of user-centered design, interaction design, and visual design principles.
+ Skilled in conducting user research, usability testing, and synthesizing insights into actionable design.
+ Able to craft and communicate compelling user narratives that drive design decisions.
+ Expert in Figma and familiar with Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator).
+ Working knowledge of digital production processes and constraints.
The anticipated pay range for this position is $72,000 - $115,300 annually. The actual base pay offered will vary depending on multiple factors including job- related knowledge/skills, relevant experience, business needs, and geographic location. In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
At Brunswick, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the salary range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent upon the specifics of the candidate's qualifications and the business context.
