The Role
A Cook is responsible for the food preparation, execution, and delivery of safely handled food to the customer-facing employees for service.

Responsibilities::
A Cook is responsible for the food preparation, execution, and delivery of safely handled food to the customer-facing employees for service.
- Maintain a friendly, positive attitude and a professional demeanor at all times.
- Report for scheduled events on time and to the assigned area promptly.
- Fulfill opening and closing duties as assigned.
- Follow prep lists and timelines provided by supervisors.
- Prepare food in a timely and safe manner following recipes.
- Maintain cleanliness of walk-in coolers, reach-ins, dry storage, and work areas.
- Have extensive knowledge of all menus, including specials.
- Communicate effectively with Supervisors, Attendants, Runners, Chefs, and Management.
- Work as a team with fellow associates and other departments.
- Pay attention to detail to exceed expectations.
- Keep the kitchen sanitary and organized.
- Complete closing duties and check out with a manager or supervisor.
- Be familiar with the layout of the kitchen and back of house areas, including emergency exits and facilities, and be able to direct staff and guests accordingly.
- Be aware of other food and beverage outlets within the venue.
- Be flexible to work in different locations as needed.
- Work a flexible schedule, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- High School Diploma or GED; culinary arts degree or certification preferred.
- 2-4 years of experience in a fast-paced restaurant, catering, or relevant food service environment.
- Proactive, self-motivated, organized, and able to prioritize tasks.
- Maintains cleanliness and adheres to sanitation procedures.
- Able to work under pressure and adapt quickly to change.
- Punctual, dependable, and able to read and retain information such as recipes, menus, and signage.
- Basic math skills and ability to communicate effectively in English.
- Works well under stress and in a team environment.
- Capable of moving quickly, standing for long periods, lifting at least 30 pounds, and performing physical tasks required in a kitchen setting.
Practice safe work habits, follow all safety policies and procedures, and complete safety training as required.
