The objective of the Jr. Graphic Designer is to provide unique and compelling visual solutions that will continue to develop the Matthews brand. This individual should possess the ability to present new ideas clearly through design, stay current with design trends, and produce a variety of marketing materials while adhering to corporate brand standards for print and digital media. The ideal candidate is hardworking, highly motivated, and excited by new challenges. You thrive in fast-paced, collaborative environments and have experience in developing strong marketing materials. We will utilize your talents to develop messaging for Matthews Real Estate Investment Services and its subsidiaries.

Responsibilities

  • Design and format digital and print marketing materials including brochures, flyers, reports, social media posts, postcards, and other collateral.
  • Manage projects in a timely manner, collaborating with vendors and various departments.
  • Coordinate with vendors to deliver print materials, providing cost analysis of quotes.
  • Conceptualize and develop graphic designs from text or verbal descriptions.
  • Oversee production of materials, including gathering printing bids, packaging artwork, and assembling final layouts for printers, along with instructions.

Requirements

  • Application without a portfolio will not be considered.
  • Portfolio demonstrating understanding of design principles, layout, typography, and visual design.
  • BA in Graphic Design or related discipline.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop), Google Workspace, and Microsoft Office.
  • Detail-oriented, professional, and service-oriented.
  • Ability to maintain consistent on-brand standards using style guides.
  • Experience updating and maintaining branded materials and templates.
  • Effective communication and relationship-building skills across all levels.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Capacity to handle various activities and prioritize responsibilities impacting regional and national business.
  • Willingness to respect and value diverse cultures.
  • Professional and courteous attitude daily.
  • Video production experience (Premiere & After Effects) is a plus.
