Base pay range

$20.00/hr - $30.00/hr

Are you a talented Industrial Designer with a passion for innovative design in the finishing systems industry? We are seeking a skilled individual to join our dynamic team and contribute to the development of cutting-edge solutions. This position requires proficiency in sheet metal design, drafting, and utilizing various design software such as AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop sheet metal components and assemblies for finishing systems.
  • Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and documentation for manufacturing and assembly.
  • Collaborate with engineers and project managers to ensure designs meet functional requirements and project goals.
  • Utilize AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor to create 2D and 3D models of product designs.
  • Apply design principles to optimize aesthetics, functionality, and manufacturability of products.
  • Manage design projects from concept through to production.

Required Skills And Qualifications

  • Proficiency in sheet metal design and drafting.
  • Strong command of AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor for creating detailed designs and drawings.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Desired Skills

  • Familiarity with Revit and Navisworks software.
  • Experience in design automation processes.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and best practices in finishing systems design.

Education And Experience

  • Previous experience in industrial design, particularly in the finishing systems industry, is preferred but not required.
  • Certification or training in AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor, and other relevant software applications.
