Overview Of The Company

Fox TV Stations owns and operates 29 full power broadcast television stations across the U.S., including stations in 14 of the top 15 largest DMAs and duopolies in 11 DMAs, such as New York, Los Angeles, and Chicago. Eighteen stations are affiliated with the FOX Network. Our stations produce approximately 1,200 hours of local news weekly, distributing sports, entertainment, and syndicated content, leveraging viewer, distributor, and advertiser demand for the FOX Network’s national content.

Job Description

Candidates must have proven, consistent experience as a Reporter, including live studio and field reporting, interviewing, research, writing, and segment setup. The role requires enterprise news stories, remote segment production, and versatility in storytelling. Experience with local and original content creation for broadcast and digital platforms is essential. Creativity in storytelling and social media proficiency are required.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree in Journalism or Communications, 5-7 years of television news experience in a medium to major market, excellent communication skills, strong news judgment, and on-air performance. Knowledge of legal and ethical broadcast standards, current events, governmental procedures, and research skills are necessary. Familiarity with news production systems and working under deadline pressure is expected.

Pay ranges from $62,500 to $90,000 annually, depending on location and experience. Benefits include medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), paid time off, and other applicable benefits. Union employees’ benefits are governed by collective bargaining agreements.
