Job Description

The main function of the public relations internship includes handling multiple projects simultaneously, such as planning marketing events, writing press releases, and creating media kits and campaigns for Digital Factory. This is a 6-9 month internship with the possibility of extension and/or salary based on performance, job requirements, and availability of the selected candidate.

This Position Will Entail

• Monitor media coverage and assist in forming a positive public narrative surrounding the company
• Develop a strong social media presence and manage all internet marketing efforts
• Maintain positive relationships with media members
• Assist with marketing event planning, write media releases and newsletters, update social media pages, and create media kits and client information packages
• Build and maintain a positive public image for the company, promoting its services, products, and projects
• Help develop marketing and advertising programs, assist in market research, and in designing ads and campaigns
• Other duties as assigned

Required Education and Work Experience

• A bachelor's degree in public relations, marketing, communications, or a related field
• Recent graduate or currently enrolled in a graduate program such as Journalism, Communications, or related fields

Preferred Qualifications

• Solid understanding of social networks
• Efficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
